Our team is currently looking for a Fleet Mechanic - Truck Technician to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs. SUMMARY/Essential Duties
Fleet Mechanic - Truck Technician Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other equipment by performing the following duties.
Fleet Mechanic -Truck Technician Essential Duties
Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other equipment by performing the following duties.
- Perform PMI's on tractors, trailers and other equipment.
- DOT (Annual Inspections)
- Perform engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs. Test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW.
- Perform Air Brakes, Wheel Ends, Reefer Trailer, and Roller Door repairs.
- Minor body damage repair
- Assist other technicians when needed.
- Must be able to work independently.
Fleet Mechanic - Truck Technician CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver's license.
ASE Certification in PMI and Brakes a plus
