Flexo Packer (1st shift)

The Flexographic Packaging Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that inventory is packed and sent to shipping properly.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitors, operates, and adjusts various packaging equipment in multiple areas according to procedures.
• Accurately completes all necessary production packaging paperwork.
• Comparing documents to ensure that customer receives accurate inventory of items.
• Responsible for placing rolls in boxes as well as other items such as spacers, insert, and etc. without jeopardizing the machine production.
• Picking up rolls from press as needed to keep the machine production going.
• Troubleshoots minor equipment problems and resolves them with minimal loss of production.
• Must work well with others in a team environment.
• Recording of time and production for job costing.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Good computer skills.

• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be capable of lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs frequently, occasionally 60lbs
• Must be capable of pushing/pulling up to 60 lbs frequently, occasionally 100lbs
