GOLF SHOP PERSONNEL & GOLF COURSE STARTERS

The City of Blue Ash is seeking applicants for the position of part-time Golf Course Starter/Golf Shop Personnel for the 2022 Spring/Summer/Fall Seasons.  The Starter ensures golfers begin their rounds at the appropriate time while maintaining the pace or play on the golf course; the Golf Shop Personnel helps make reservations and checks in golfers before their play.  This position will provide outstanding customer service ensuring a positive guest experience.

These positions are Seasonal Part-Time and will enjoy contributions into the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System; free individual membership to the Blue Ash Recreation Center with eligibility and discount for family members; and discounts at the Blue Ash Golf Course and Sandtrap Grill restaurant.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Will provide a positive service to every guest.
• Assures guests have an enjoyable round of golf and all groups do their best to keep pace with others.
• Assures all players observe good golf etiquette and obey the rules set forth in play.
• Keeps the course clean and calls attention to the golf shop of any maintenance issues needing addressed.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to operate a computer and point of sale system.
• A flexible schedule is required.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have excellent customer service skills with a friendly, pleasant personality.
