Grounds Technician

The City of Middletown is accepting applications for the position of Grounds Technician in the Department of Public Works & Utilities, Division of Grounds Maintenance.  Requirements:  Graduation from a two-year college or university with major course work in agriculture, arboricultural, ornamental horticulture or closely related subjects; experience in planting, cultivating and maintaining turf, trees, shrubs and flowers; or equivalent training and experience; and Possession of a license issued by the State of Ohio as a Certified Public Operator to apply pesticides or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.  Applicants must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License. Salary Range: $21.43 to $28.68 per hour plus benefits.
