Chesterwood Village, a senior care facility with Hillandale Communities, is seeking experienced Housekeepers to work at our West Chester location. Prior experience is preferred. Must have flexibility in scheduling with the ability to work weekends and some holidays.
Housekeeping responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing day to day housekeeping functions as assigned
- Cleaning resident rooms, general areas, fixtures, ledges, and furnishings
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
- Trash removal
- Floor care - sweeping and mopping
- Assisting with passing patient trays as needed
- Attending required in-services and educational events
Candidates should have prior housekeeping experience and:
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferred
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team
- A positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly
- Patience, understanding and compassion for those requiring our care
