HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial customers.
• Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of systems.
• Travel to job sites in service area, and ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations
• Additional items as assigned by manager

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have the following trade skills:
o Complete Refrigeration Cycle Understanding
o Reclaim and System Charging
o Soldering and Brazing
o Electrical Troubleshooting
o DDC Control Troubleshooting
o Building Management Systems
o Heat Gain and Loss Calculation Knowledge
o Air Flow and Ductwork Sizing Knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair the following:
o Roof Top Packaged Equipment
o Steam and Hot Water Boilers
o Gas Fired Make-Up Air Units
o Ductless Split Equipment
o Economizers
o Liebert Equipment
o Chillers
o Cooling Towers
o VAV Air Distribution Systems
