About The Cone
Family owned and operated since 1973! We strive to serve only premium soft serve and related products! Our 65 employees serve ice cream in a family friendly setting from mid March through early October! The Cone has a drive thru, game room, and 4 Mobile Cone Units (to do festivals, etc.)! This is a great job to earn extra cash and have time to focus on school from October to March!

Staff Job Description:

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
High School Sophomores/Juniors***:
Energetic, personable, initiative, problem solving capabilities. Prepared to work hard and be responsible.
15-40 hrs/week.
Local College Position:
Able to work around school schedule. Must be able to work during the week and weekends.
Mobile Cone Tower (18+):
Towing generator to mobile events, setting up/tearing down mobiles, and running the event .
15-40+ hrs/week.
Mobile Detailer & Machine Cleaner:
Deep Clean Mobile Cone units after events and restock inventory.
Clean The Cone and Mobile Cone ice cream machines.
15-40+ hrs/week.
Job Requirements
***High School Employees:
You must be able to work the entire Season (March-October). If you have a time consuming activity (sports, a play, etc.) in the Spring or Fall, and cannot work 3-4 shifts a week, this may not be the right job for you!
During school, you must be available at least 15 hours per week (Mon-Thur) and 12 hours on the weekend (Friday night through Sunday night). You will not necessarily be scheduled all of those times but you need to be available. During the summer, you must be available at least 5 shifts a week (Mon-Thurs) and 3 shifts on the weekend (Friday-Sunday).
All Positions:
Vacations are allowed in moderation.
You must be available for either July 4th or Labor Day weekends as they are our busiest weekends of the season. You must also be available for a day or night shift on Mother's day and National Ice Cream Day (July 15th).
Pay: After training:
Average of $10.50/hour
with tips included.
($8.50/hour plus an average of $2.00/hour in tips)
Additional wage raises can be earned
(even during the first season!)
Based on availability,
experience, and work ethic!
Within your first year, with tips,
you could be averaging around $11/hour!
*Training is your first 25 hours of working at
The Cone and takes only
around 2 weeks to complete.
During training, pay is minimum wage*
