The City of the Village of Indian Hill is seeking qualified candidates to serve as its next Information Technology Manager. Indian Hill is a quiet residential community located in Hamilton County, Ohio, just a few miles northeast of the City of Cincinnati. Indian Hill is home to approximately 5,900 residents and has a strong sense of history, community and rural agriculture.


The Information Technology Manager is a full-time position that is responsible for the day-to-day operations, development, oversight, management and coordination of all technology related functions within the City of the Village of Indian Hill. The Information Technology Manager is a direct report to the City Manager and acts as the primary technology advisor to all City departments. The Technology Services office serves approximately 60 work stations, five physical and 12 virtual servers, five virtual hosts, approximately 100 VoIP and mobile phones and performs the administration of the City's website and email accounts.


The Information Technology Manager is a key member of the management team and functions with a high degree of independence and utilizes mature judgment and planning abilities to establish priorities and programs to manage and configure the City's technological infrastructure to best meet the City's information needs. The position requires a thorough working knowledge and demands continuous knowledge of computer networking, software applications, personal computer, server and peripheral hardware, application development and project management as the technology field is constantly changing and advancing.

Salary Range: $78,795 - $110,334 DOQ. The City of the Village of Indian Hill offers an excellent benefit package and provides years of service credit for those candidates who have prior service with other governmental units in Ohio.



Job Requirements

Each applicant must have three years of experience in computer systems or computer network management, plus a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or a closely related field. Systems analysis, project management and client server experience preferred. Any combination of training or experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be accepted. Must have ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as needed. A valid drivers' license is required.
