Summary

Lead Installer will be a part of the crane installation crew and will run the crew in the absence of the Field Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordination of tools for install
  • Verify all measurements/layout once on site
  • Record all time worked on site
  • Assist in managing budgets to assure profitability
  • Assist in planning the next day prior to leaving jobsite at night and staging materials
  • Assist in inspecting all rigging
  • Ensure that on all welding certificates are kept up to date
  • Ability to travel Frequently

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises the Install Crew in the absence of Field Operations Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Job Requirements

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software.
