Lead Machinist

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Includes precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

At least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
Minimum High School Degree
Knowledge in: Edge finders
Knowledge in: Knee mills
Knowledge in: Engine lathes
Knowledge in: Bandsaws
Knowledge in: 3-axis computerized numerical control CNC machines
Knowledge in: Microsoft Excel
Stay on your feet for 8-hour shifts
