LPN

The primary purpose of this position is to provide for the daily care, health needs, safety, and comfort of the residents. This includes providing professional assessments and documentation of the resident's health and assisting with the management of the assigned nursing units, staff CNAs and staff QMAs.

-Must possess a valid LPN license in good standing;
-Have a through understanding of the principles of safe and effective nursing practices within the State of Ohio;
-Must possess managerial & interpersonal skills;
-Personal integrity & the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and personnel;
-Requires judgement in prioritizing the performance of task, duties and responsibilities in accordance with established standards, as well as policies and procedures;
-The ability to be discrete & protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPPA;
-Have a patient and cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioning;
-The ability to convey information concerning a resident's condition to the appropriate staff members, and
-The ability to adhere to professional code of ethics.
