What does a Machine Operator do?

• Oversees machine operations: Machine Operators are responsible for safety and ensuring production meets the company service, targeted goals, and cost objectives.
• Gets physical: Work is performed by using both hands and arms while in a standing position. Operators are frequently bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling. You will always be moving to keep up with orders!
• Understands machine mechanics: Has demonstrated full proficiency and proper Operator techniques for at least one machine within a Machine Group while meeting quality standards. Machine Groups are currently defined as Paper, Poly, Sideweld/Wickets, and Auxiliary (Bubble/Kalfass, etc.).

What do you need to be considered for this role?

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of machine operation experience
English speaking, writing and reading skills
Flexibility to work overtime, dependability, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work 12 hour shifts (regular, rotating schedule)
