Maintenance Technician

This position is responsible for keeping the production equipment and facility in good operating condition by performing preventative maintenance and maintenance repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.  It will provide for new equipment installations.  it will assist production line personnel as necessary to keep the production equipment operating.

This position needs to know how all the equipment is designed to operate and keep it functional for the production crew.

Work closely with the Plant Manager and Line Leader to prioritize equipment issues that need to be addressed to keep the production lines operating properly.

 

Minimum requirements: High School Graduate. Requires a minimum 2 years experience in Industrial Maintenance.

Knowledge of Industrial electricity, Hydraulics, Pneumatic's. Must be able to weld. CNC Machining would be beneficial. Should be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Must have the ability to analyze problems with production equipment. Dexterity is needed to be able to perform maintenance duties. Must be able to communicate with managers and production crew members to maintain the equipment and reduce downtime.

Note: There is no air conditioning in the production areas. it is hot in the summer months and cool in the winter months. Dress for the weather as there are occasions when the work will be outside. There will be times when work will need to be performed in areas with limited space.

This is a 1st shift position. Overtime as required.
