Maintenance Worker

This is semi-skilled, manual work position performing a variety of manual tasks. Work involves the safe and efficient operation of a variety of motorized equipment including trucks and construction equipment and responsibility for the safe and efficient completion of assigned tasks. Work is performed under the immediate supervision of an employee in a higher classification and instructions are received at the beginning of each new job.
Position requires the necessary physical condition to perform heavy physical labor over a sustained period of time primarily outdoors; standing, walking, bending, and carrying heavyweight items (50-100 pounds) such as tools, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements: Experience in performing labor, maintenance, or construction work. Possession of a valid Ohio Driver’s License and a valid Ohio Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver’s License with required endorsements within 6 months of hire date. Salary Range: $16.84 to $24.46 per hour plus benefits. All applicants will be required to take a written examination on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
