JOB SUMMARY: 

The Manufacturing Engineer I analyzes blueprints, job specifications and related data to visualize the manufacturing & machining processes required to make parts.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Modeling parts from .pdfs and creating .dxfs.
  • Preparing process routers.
  • Organizes and reviews RFQ’s for sub-contract operations.
  • Requests sub-contract quotes.
  • Assists in planning and designing manufacturing processes.
  • Assists with determining the parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goal according to product specifications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The majority of the day will be in an office environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment along with time spent on the shop floor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience:
    1. Microsoft Office
    2. 3-D Modeling
    3. Excellent verbal communication skills
    4. Ability to work collaboratively
  2. Licensures and Certifications: None
  3. Education:  Bachelor’s degree
