Materials Handler

PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing service, has been given the opportunity to support a local, family owned, steel manufacturing service center with competitive benefits.

Shifts Available:

First Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Occasional overtime required

Job Functions:

• Pulling orders with a forklift and/or overhead crane
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Utilizing various tools and measuring equipment
• Checking for order quality and accuracy of products
• Working with metals including carbon steel and cast iron
• Operating a forklift or overhead crane
• Keeping work area safe and clean
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work overtime when needed
• Must be able to read a tape measure down to the 1/16"
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience is helpful but not required (on-the-job training!)
• Must follow strict company safety procedures
