Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant

Busy family practice seeking full time medical assistant/scribe to work directly with physician.  Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:45 am to approximately 5:00 pm.  Occasional Wednesday or Saturday hours.  This position will work directly with physician with patient care and patient EHR documentation.  Experience preferred.  We will consider candidates with scribe experience who may or may not have medical assistant experience.

Candidate must have energetic personality, ability to multitask in a high volume office, and be eager to learn. Job duties will include but not be limited to:

Patient Check In
Obtaining Vitals
Chart documentation
CLIA waived testing
Administration of Injections
Knowledge of physician charting and physical exam
Transcribing physician notes into the EHR system
