MIG Welder/Fabricator

Magnum Piering is looking for experienced MIG welders to join our fast-growing team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The position will consist of layout, fitting, and MIG welding of mild steel. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and a tape measure. A mig welding test will be required at the time of the interview.

SHIFT

Four 10 hour shifts Monday- Friday 6:00am to 4:00pm Overtime is available as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The best candidate would have metal fabrication experience and custom job shop experience. Depending upon production and shipping schedule best candidate will need to be flexible and have the ability to work in other related departments between jobs. Welding hood required. Boots will be supplied.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Trade school experience, other apprenticeship experience, or on-the-job experience in related field or industry.

Rotary positioner experience preferred
Experience in layout & fitting
Must be able to read & interpret blueprints & shop drawings
Ability to lift and maneuver 60 lbs.
