Position Title:  Millwright & Maintenance Field Service Foreman

Business Unit:  Repairs & Maintenance

Location:  Poseyville, IN

Reports To:  Operations Manager

 

The Field Service Foreman will oversee assigned job site activities for safety, quality and productivity. This position is responsible for leading the daily activities on customer sites. When fieldwork/sitework is not available, this position will report to the shop to assist efforts.

 

Our ideal candidate will

  • Work closely with Millwright & Maintenance Operations Manager and VP of Operations to schedule equipment and labor resources
  • Effectively communicate any issues or concerns with management
  • Conduct morning team meetings
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production goals and specific deadlines are met
  • Assist Project Managers with performance reviews
  • Conduct on the job training for new team members
  • Monitor and report training requirements and needs
  • Oversee attendance and punctuality
  • Maintain equipment assets and tools
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of all mobile equipment and customer sites
  • Uphold all company and customer site safety and quality requirements
  • Prepare any safety or quality documentation as required
  • Ensures all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork
  • Perform routine and specific quality checks and document
  • Request rework orders and/or change orders from Millwright & Maintenance Operations Manager when necessary
  • Administer job safety analysis as needed
  • Ensure Millwright & Maintenance Operations Manager and VP of Operations are aware of any issues which can impact customer satisfaction or billing
  • Follow all company and common-sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment, when necessary
  • Contribute to our team environment by anticipating the needs of co-workers, bringing a positive attitude into our culture and showing an eagerness to discover and share new opportunities for our organization

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in welding and fabrication required
  • Knowledge of steel dimensions and measurements required
  • Ability to read blueprints, cut lists, tape measures, and angle finders required
  • Certified welders are preferred but not required
  • Crane rigging experience is required. Rigging certification is preferred but not required
  • Industrial Millwright & Maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience in Millwright & Maintenance preferred
  • Experience in industrial and structural fabrication and/or erection preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistance
  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
  • Organized with attention to detail
