Description
The City of Fairfield is seeking qualified candidates to serve as its next Network Analyst. Fairfield is located in southwestern Ohio approximately 20 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. It is a well-established community with a stable economy and an exceptional quality of life. It is home to approximately 43,000 residents and is the prime business address for more than 1,600 retail, service, and light industrial establishments. The City is served by a Council/Manager form of government, which embraces a "customer service" approach as its philosophy.
Job Requirements
The Network Analyst reports to the Information Technology Manager and is responsible for internal customer service and technological support services to City departments with an emphasis on the Police Department and Fairfield Municipal Court. The IT Division consists of a five-member team that services approximately 500 work stations, 69 servers, 600 phones, and processes approximately 4,600 work orders per year. The Network Analyst is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing hardware/software for server and workstation-based platforms as well as performing system administration tasks on Windows based platforms, servers, and workstations.
We are seeking customer-service focused candidates who possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Position requires Associates Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred), advanced training, or equivalent experience in applied information technology; two to three years hands-on experience with Windows-based server platform and Active Directory; foundational knowledge of IP addressing, IP routing/switching, SQL Server; and valid driver’s license.
Salary range: $52,000 - $65,000 DOQ. Excellent benefits.
