Operating Room RN

Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time Operating Room RN. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives.  Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.  Hours: This full-time position is ten hour shifts working 4 days per week (5:30 am – 4:00 pm) and includes an on-call rotation.

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.  Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.

Education

BSN degree required or in progress

Certification/Licensure

Ohio RN license

CNOR highly preferred

Experience

2+ years OR experience required

Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus
