Job Description

TEVA is currently seeking a talented and innovative Packaging/Maintenance Tech II to join our Maintenance department located at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. As a Packaging/Maintenance Tech II, you will:

• Schedule Preventive and Predictive maintenance based on the established schedules. This would include but is not limited to; Packaging Lines, Manufacturing Lines, Building Maintenance, Grounds, Warehouse, Boiler and Ancillary Equipment.
• Being effective and proactive in supporting the operations department
• Timely closure of Routine and NRWO with proper documentation, e.g. Logbooks filled out and work order is detailed. Any issues are brought to management’s attention.
• Adherence to established policies, procedures and SOP’s
• Troubleshooting and repair of the packaging equipment, this would include but is not limited to; Bosch Flowwrappers, Uhlmann Cartoners and Thermoformers, Casepacker, Palletizers, Bottling equipment, Vision Inspection Units, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical evaluation and repairs

Qualifications

• Education Required: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Education Preferred: Associates or Technical Degree; Professional Certification
• Experience Required: 5 years minimum of working experience in a maintenance individual contributor capacity. Technical Training and/or working experience in a trade will be considered
• Experience Preferred: Minimum of 3 - 5 years pharmaceutical packaging experience; 1-3 years in leadership capacity
• Specialized or Technical knowledge, licenses, certifications needed: Proficient in basic computer applications including MS Office and internet tools. Willingness to develop proficiency in CMMS.
