Lexington County Emergency Medical Services, the fourth-largest EMS agency in South Carolina, is hiring full-time paramedics. LCEMS serves over 290,000 citizens in 758 square miles of urban, suburban, and rural areas. We are a fast paced 911 service running close to 45,000 calls last year. We operate on 12-hour shifts, offer state-of-the-art equipment, and are proud of our progressive standing orders. Collateral duty assignments, including Marine Patrol, Community Action Team, and EMS Explorer Advisors are available. We are just a few hours away from the coast, and the mountains, making our location a welcomed spot for outdoor enthusiasts.  Come experience a milder winter!  Paramedic salary starts out at $45,193 and increases to $47,193 once crew chief status is achieved.
