Part Time Kennel Assistant

Fast-paced kennel connected to well-established companion animal practice in West Chester, Ohio is looking for part time kennel technician. Previous experience as a kennel technician is preferred. Knowledge of basic pet care and husbandry is a must. This position requires that candidates be available for work on holidays and weekends, as well as day and evening hours during the week.

Candidates must be able to work independently, have strong communication skills, be able to walk large dogs, have their own reliable transportation, and be able to work efficiently. Duties include leash walking small and large dogs, feeding and medicating both dogs and cats, bathing dogs, cleaning and sanitizing the kennel and runs, as well as interacting with our clientele during drop off and pick up procedures.
