Part Time/ Seasonal- Warehouse Technician

The Warehouse Technician is responsible ensuring proper identification, storage and shipment as needed of parts and equipment. The Warehouse Technician may also be called upon to oversee general shop conditions and maintenance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the inventory activities including direction regarding the coding and proper
   placement of inventory items
2. As needed, ensure proper shipment and receiving protocol for outbound and inbound
   inventory items
3. Ensure maintenance of shop condition as it relates to cleanliness, efficiency and safety
4. May direct the activities of others to move inventory throughout shop as needed
5. Ensures proper preparation and documentation for shop inventory
6. Identifies and secures equipment needs for shop/field as needed
7. Maintains an understanding of the technical side of company core business needs
8. Works with Service Assistant and Purchasing to identify appropriate suppliers and
   utilizes them for support as needed for procurement
9. Adhere to all company, industry and client safety protocol and standard

Reasoning Development: Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
Mathematical Development: Ability to add, subtract, and divide all units of measure.
Language Development: Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English.

The position is considered to have light physical demands that require the incumbent to communicate orally, hear at a conversational level and perform job tasks requiring the use of a telephone, fax, and computer.
