Our firm is actively expanding, and we need qualified people like you to help us meet our goals! Currently, we have an immediate need for a qualified Payroll & Compliance Clerk to assist in all activities regarding the management of employee compensation in the company. Your role will include a variety of tasks such as: assist the payroll manager with preparing the biweekly payroll, complete unemployment forms, employment verifications and assist with Security Officer benefit administration. A best-in-class Payroll & Compliance Clerk has a great understanding of confidentiality, is experienced in data entry with attention to detail and possesses great math skills to make the necessary accurate calculations. The ideal candidate is a thorough professional with excellent communication abilities.


  • Enter and maintain employee files throughout all systems; process information in the payroll system; information may include employee’s hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
  • Assist with employment verifications & data entry on Security Officer benefits, when needed.
  • Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
  • Assist with fleet asset management, including tracking fuel expenses, insurance compliance, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in HR, Accounting or Bookkeeping with at least six months of experience in payroll preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
