Pool Cleaner Technician

SwimSafe Pool Management is looking to hire Pool Cleaner Technicians for the upcoming season. We are a family-owned company that provides comprehensive pool management services to Tri-State area facilities. A SwimSafe Pool Tech’s responsibility includes arriving at each assigned location on time and completing multiple tasks daily to ensure the pool and facility are up to client and employer standards. The tech is responsible for communicating with their direct supervisor or via SwimSafe’s Mobi App. on a day-to-day basis to coordinate repairs, concerns, client complaints, or any other issues pertaining to the facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Check and adjust water chemistry and record readings in SwimSafe Pool logbook
• Check flow meters and pressure gauges
• Record readings in SwimSafe Pool logbook
• Vacuum Pool – as needed
• Weekly chemical inventory
• Skim any debris off the surface of the pool
• Wipe down pool furniture - as needed
• Clean waterline tile around pool edge as needed
• Backwash filter systems and clean strainer pots as needed
• Blow off the pool deck
• Empty trash and replace trash can liners
• Straighten deck furniture
• Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures daily
• Empty bath trash cans
• Sweep, mop, or wash bath floors as needed
• Restock bath paper products
• Log all required information into the SwimSafe MOBI app, via smartphone.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

A background in aquatics and/or swimming pools is preferred, however, not required. Extensive training would be completed upon hire.

• High School Diploma
• Morning Availability
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic and commitment

*Hours are primarily May- September. Preseason and Postseason hours available in other position
