As a Production Technician at CSafe, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process of air cargo shipping containers. You will be responsible for constructing and assembling these containers with precision, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Container Assembly: Construct air cargo shipping containers following established specifications and guidelines.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure containers meet rigorous quality standards.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Utilize hand and power tools with precision and maintain them in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used per FAA standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the assembly process.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to meet production goals and timelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications:
- High school education or GED equivalent is required.
- 3+ years’ experience in assembly or a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of FAA standards, preferred.
- Prior experience in container manufacturing or cold chain logistics is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and expertise with hand and power tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and with a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines precisely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
