Project Engineer / Estimator

General Contractor located in Harrison, Ohio now hiring a full-time Project Engineer/Estimator position to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.  Responsibilities would include communicating with engineers, architects, owners, subcontractors, material suppliers, and field personnel; preparing project schedules; reviewing submittals;  estimating; and preparing change orders.

Required skills include being a strong/effective communicator with everyone involved in a project to ensure  tasks are performed within the schedule and budget.  Must have knowledge of reading/understanding drawings and specifications, MS Office, OSHA standards, and estimating software (WinEst by Trimble).   Applicant should be a team player with leadership abilities including excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Associate or Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or related field. Two years or more years’ experience in project management or cost estimating.
