The Quality Inspector is responsible for making sure quality level is maintained as described by policy and shop fabrication prints.
Monitor reports for work orders that require inspection & reconcile system documentation
Inspect products involved with manufacturing in a timely manner
Inspect first setup on Work Order run after initial processes
Use appropriate tooling/gauges as necessary to complete job duties
Work well with others in a team environment
Any other functions as deemed necessary by the Quality Inspection Supervisor
Issue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools as necessary.
Uphold all OSHA and employee handbook standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Good knowledge of fabrication and welding operations required. Experience with manual machining equipment, CNC laser cutting systems, welding, punching, and press brakes is preferred.
Able to read a blueprint and tape measure
Self motivated and good time management skills
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Good organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
Basic Microsoft Office and computing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to maintain a positive and professional work attitude, always.
Ability to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Lift 10 lbs occasionally, up to 75 lbs on in-frequent occasions.
