At Kenwood Country Club, an Emerald status and Distinguished private country club we are seeking a Full Time Restaurant Chef to join our Kitchen!

Kenwood Country Club offers its members not only a rotating seasonal menu, but many different food offerings from Sushi, to Steak, Wood Fried Pizza to Upscale Wine Dinners and everything in between.

This Club offers a team environment in large professional kitchen.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for creating an outstanding customer service experience for our members and guests by preparing ala-carte and banquet menu items in an efficient, professional, and pleasant manner. We are seeking individuals who have experience in the food service industry and are committed to impeccable food preparation and garnishing, which is important for impressing our guests and creating repeat business. Our ideal candidate must have experience with recipe development, menu writing, and team building.  This position will manage lunch and dinner services as well as one full time demi-chef and ten cooks.

 

Qualifications:

Must have experience as a sous chef, demi chef, hotel or restaurant experience managing and Cooking from a fast-paced, or full-service restaurant or club experience.

Must have experience with recipe development, menu writing, and team building.

Flexibility in scheduling is a must.

Experience 5+ years preferred.

Must pass background check.

Must have reliable transportation.

Pay: based on experience starting at $42,000

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Cooking/Kitchen: 5+ years (required), Must have experience as a sous chef, demi chef, hotel or restaurant experience managing and cooking from a fast-paced, or full-service restaurant or club experience. (required)
