New Wage Scale & Shift Differential
STNA Job Responsibilities Include
- Ensuring that residents' personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness
- Ensuring that residents' medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care
- Maintaining the residents' physical environment in a clean, safe, pleasant manner
- Ensuring that nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with established care plan
- Performing other related activities as assigned or requested
The STNA must be physically able to
- Move (sit, stand, bend, and lift) intermittently throughout the workday
- Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds
- Assist with the evacuation of residents if necessary
Required Credentials
- At minimum - Completed and passed the STNA class (Rest Haven offers the class if needed)
- Or have taken and passed the online temporary NA (certificate required)
- Have passed the State competency test and be listed on the State Registry in good standing
