Treatment Plant Operator

The City of Middletown is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator.  Minimum Requirements:  Must possess at minimum a valid Ohio EPA Class I Wastewater Certificate or have the ability to obtain Operator-in-Training (OIT) status issued by Ohio EPA within 24 months of hire. A written examination for non-licensed applicants will be given on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.  Applicants that possess the required licensing are not required to take an examination. Salary range:  $36,530 to $60,591 annually depending on certifications, plus shift differential, opportunity for overtime, and benefits package. Position will include rotating shift work.
