We have an immediate opening for a full-time Tube/Bottle Operations Manager at our facility. The core hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (this is a salaried position). If you have a passion for excellence and would like to join a stable and growing company, then we'd like to talk to you.

The Tube/Bottle Operations Manager duties are:
• Directly supervises all employees in the Tube/Bottle Production Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Evaluates written data such as job orders, product specifications and operations sheets, parts and materials inventory lists, and machine and worker production rates, to establish efficient allocation and scheduling of parts, materials, machines, and sequences of operations and workflow.
• Conducts weekly “huddle” meetings with the production supervisor and the group to discuss upcoming schedule, non-conforming runs, process changes, vacation schedules, and other departmental information.
• Supports institution and maintenance of Standard Work processes
• Develops, updates, and maintains weekly schedule. Schedules daily add-ons with goal of reducing backorders. Schedules personnel for the week.
• Initiates jobs and runs batch records for upcoming jobs as a backup for the Manufacturing Coordinator.
• Determines work procedures, work instructions, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of production crew.
• Participates in CNP process, investigating and presenting findings in weekly meeting for all Tube/Bottle NC runs. Develops preventative measures, including submitting Product Change Requests.
• Regularly updates and maintains key performance indicators associated with managing department performance as a part of Hardy Diagnostics Continuous Improvement efforts.
Initiates and responds to CAPA’s as required.
• Attends SWAT meetings to discuss high frequency CNP products.
• Supports preparation of daily media runs, running of equipment, daily cleaning, packaging and labeling.
• Assists supervisor and lead in direction of work group to accomplish daily production requirements.
• Evaluates all assigned employees performances by conducting bi-annual reviews with each employee.
• Helps develop new products and processes while making continuous improvements to those already in place.
• Acts a liaison between departments to ensure steady and constant flow of finished product and raw materials.
• Submits Product Change Request (PCR) to keep Batch Records accurate.
• Performs weekly auditing of payroll for group. Approves/disapproves time off requests.
• Runs quarterly attendance reports for all assigned employees and disciplines anyone in violation of attendance policies.
Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical, school, three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy in MS Word Office Suite is desired.
