We specialize in all aspects of repair and restoration for furniture, automobiles, boats, aircraft, RVs, and more. Our work includes leather and vinyl repairs, and we are on the lookout for individuals eager to learn and grow within the upholstery repair industry.
Position Objectives:
This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking to embark on a fulfilling career in upholstery repair. As a technician, you will assist our team in the field and at our shop, where you will be involved in the repair and restoration of leather, vinyl, and plastic in various markets, including automotive, residential, marine, aviation, and commercial.

Essential Functions:
- Onsite inspection, repair and restoration of leather, vinyl and plastic
- Utilize color-matching skills to ensure seamless and precise restoration of upholstery
- The ability to travel to customer’s homes, dealerships and other commercial locations to assess and complete repairs
- Show respect for customers' property by maintaining a clean work environment and appearance
- Assist in setting up work areas, including equipment setup and preparation
- Help with preparing work areas by cleaning and masking off work surfaces
- Support the removal and replacement of components like car seats, furniture, and boat seat
- Assist in the demobilization process by removing masking, disconnecting power sources, and loading equipment
- Contribute to shop maintenance by unloading and storing products, cleaning tools, and replenishing tool kits
- Engage with new and existing customers by making calls and distributing promotional materials
- Maintain clean vehicles
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Machines/Equipment/Tools Used:
- Hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches and sockets
- Electric and air powered tools - compressors, airbrush, HVLP gun, cordless drills, dremmels, staple gun, heat gun, sewing machine
Skills and Qualifications:
- Willingness and ability to learn the technical aspects of the upholstery repair business
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including heavy lifting, squatting, and reaching
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing situations
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management, dependability and organizational skills
- Sewing experience is preferred
- Willingness to submit to drug testing and background verification
