Description
- Responsible for keeping and maintaining production lines clean and free of debris
- Responsible for keeping and maintaining inedible room clean and free of debris
- Responsible for bringing out all container and trash receptacles and placing them in the proper areas throughout the production lines
- Responsible for removing all inedible material such as trash, meat and breading
- Responsible for documenting all inedible breading loss and meat loss
- responsible for notifying when breading or inedible trucks needs replacing
- Responsible for notifying when trash receptacle need replacing
- Responsible for filling and inedible truck as needed when here for pick up
- Responsible for notifying supervision and or management of areas on the line that need improvement in order to reduce floor loss or breading loss
Job Requirements
Work as a team with everyone to keep and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the plant
Must be able to follow and understand direction from supervisor and or management
Must be able to operate material handling equipment
Must be able to complete all required paperwork
Must follow food safety and GMP procedures
Must be willing to train new utility staff
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs on a consistent basis
Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, other department and opposing shifts
Must notify production line of any product quality issues in order to segregate any affected product
Must attend all required meetings/training's
Maintain an excellent record
Communicate problems, improvements or changes with operators, supervisors and or managers of opposing shifts
Must be willing to assist in other production positions such as a back-up machine operator and or any deemed necessary to complete said task
Must be willing to train and coach new utility
