Vacuum Furnace Operator

Byron Products is a small business located in Fairfield, Ohio in the heat treating, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and medical industries. We are looking for a vacuum furnace operator to join our team.

Hourly Wage: $25/hour + (additional pay negotiable with experience)

Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm-7:30am)

Skills Required:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively
• Proactive and able to work cooperatively with others
• Attention to detail and punctual attendance
• Perform various duties with the ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Maintain records and logs and routers
• Ability to handle an operate various power tools
• Ability to utilize calipers and micrometers
• Experience or willingness to learn how to operate and set-up vacuum furnaces
• Experience or willingness to learn to work with FAA, and ISO specifications concerning aerospace furnace brazing and heat treating

• Graduation from high school / GED or experience in a variety of trades or manufacturing work; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Pre-Employment drug screen required and random drug test throughout the year
