Warehouse Associate / Backup CDL Truck Delivery Driver

Local distributor in search of a warehouse associate that can also serve as a backup delivery driver. We are a small local pet food distributor in Forest Park looking for a DEPENDABLE, HONEST, HARDWORKING individual that can be trained to serve as Warehouse Manager in the future.

Job would consist of pulling orders, ordering product, loading and unloading trucks, warehouse sanitation and maintenance, route planning, backup driving in straight truck or tractor trailer, 1 local delivery route per week and covering vacations for other drivers.  All driving local, no over-the-road.

 

Truck driving experience preferred (straight truck or tractor trailer) Must be able to drive a vehicle with manual transmission and must be willing to train (at our expense) to earn a Class A CDL (tractor trailer). Pay increase after candidate earns Class A.

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Must have a clean driving record
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must pass DOT drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00-$20.00 per hour depending on driving qualifications
