Welder/ Fabricator

Stelter & Brinck is based out of Cincinnati, Ohio and has been designing and manufacturing process heat and environmental equipment for over 60 years! Due to the continued demand for our quality equipment and excellent customer service we seek to add a Welder/ Fabricator to our team.

Position Entails

Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification

Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements

MIG weld steel and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings

Assemble items as instructed by manager and work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency

Follow all company rules and policies- ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards-keep work areas clean and organized.

Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.

Prepare product for shipment

Lift raw materials manually (up to 50 pounds) or by using a hoist or forklift

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (Preferred)

2+ years of welding experience; must be able to pass welding certification AWS D1.1/ D1.6

Excellent organization, time management skills, and the ability to adjust to the frequently changing dynamics

Ability to proficiently and safely use electric tools, hand tools, and other shop machinery.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work overtime as required

Ability to communicate with other departments proficiently and professionally.
