Welder – Great Benefits!

Pay: $17 - $17.75 (Shift Diff.)

Shift: 

-1st Shift: M-Thurs. 6am - 2:30/4:30pm, Fri.- 6-2:30pm, Sat.- 6am-11am

-2nd Shift: M-Thurs. 2pm-12:30am, Fri.- 2pm-10pm, Sat. – time unsure

-3rd Shift: Sun-Wed. 7pm-5:30am, Thurs.- 7pm-3:30am, Fri.- 5pm-11:30pm

(Working Saturdays but not always).

Responsibilities: 

-Fabricating, assembling, and welding components to make axles.

-Fabricate steel pieces for the axles

-Read blueprints and understand geometrical tolerances.

-MIG welding, tac weld, using plasma cutters.

-Use measuring tools, micrometers and perform first piece inspection.

-Assemble components to make axle; one takes ~ 6 production hours

-Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

-Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kanban cards.

Must Haves:

-HS Diploma

-Experience in: MIG welding, mechanical aptitude, micrometers

-Read tape measures

-Ability to work Saturday

-Able to lift 65 pounds

Plusses: Blueprint reading experience

Compliance: 5 Panel drug & 7-year background check
