Description
Individual will need to be a self starter and team player who has the flexibility to multitask every single day. Will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled PM, inspections, repairs and be able to troubleshoot various types of equipment in both our roll forming and steel service centers. Expectations of putting SAFETY first is not an option. Work with the Machine Operators to coordinate machine inspections, PM's and trouble shooting any issues that could be causing problems during production. Work with management to contain costs and develop relationships with suppliers/vendors.
Job Requirements
Looking for a self-starter with strong mechanical and mathematical skills who appreciates working hard in a family owned business that continues to grow. Experience with the maintenance of mechanical drive systems, electrical power/distribution systems (460 VAC - 3 phase and lower), pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and basic knowledge of PLC systems along with the ability to use proper electrical testing and measuring devices are required. The position is on day shift and typically requires working weekly overtime and some Saturdays. Three year minimum work related experience in an industrial environment, HS diploma/GED, along with the completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screen is required.
