Maintenance

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the upkeep, preventive maintenance, and the functionality of all machinery throughout the plant.

Essential Job Functions

• Availability to respond immediately to production needs when machinery is not performing properly.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Work alongside of custodians to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Overall upkeep of facility.

Requirements

• Ability to bend and lift boxes of items (no more than 20 lbs.)
• Ability to comprehend instructions and communicate with department leads.
• Ability to be proactive and communicate with department head or plant manager regarding safety or other related machinery issues.
• High School diploma is required; trade school or further education is preferred.

Other Skills/Abilities

• Trade licenses or certificates a plus.
• Ability to bend and lift boxes of items (no more than 20 lbs.)
• Ability to comprehend and follow out instructions.
• Keep work area clean and follow all safety rules.
