Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist

A leading retail lab testing company in the United States is seeking a qualified MA/Phlebotomist to work part-time at their Forest Park location.   This part time position will require 3 days and a rotating Saturday shift to assist the full time Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws, drug screening & physical exams on business and walk-in customers
• Complete testing requisitions and deliver results by fax or email when completed
• Assist customers with choosing a test that meets their medical needs and budget
• Enter and complete customer payment procedures into QuickBooks accounting system
• Communicate medical and administrative supply needs to Office Manager
• Troubleshoot customer requests with patience

Requirements:

• MA & Phlebotomist certification
• Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy & MA experience
• PC knowledge including all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Responsible, strong work ethic, works well independently, communicates well under pressure
• Maintain friendly, professional demeanor at all times
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass drug screen and background check
