Description
- Perform stamping press setups and die changeovers, including die installation, alignment, and adjustment
- Set and verify press parameters such as tonnage, stroke, speed, feed, and lubrication
- Conduct trial runs and validate part quality before releasing presses to production
- Troubleshoot stamping press or die-related issues during setup and startup
- Monitor initial production runs to ensure quality and process stability
- Read and interpret setup sheets, blueprints, and work instructions
- Use the Company’s quality control procedures of non-conforming products to prevent defective product from reaching our customers
- Environmental responsibilities including applying the 5S principles (sort, straighten, shine, sustain and standardize)
- Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and PPE requirements
- Maintain accurate setup documentation and production records
- Requires dependable attendance per Company Attendance policy
