Part-Time Exterior Shutter Installation Technician – Contract

The Shutter House of Cincinnati is a growing local home-service business specializing in custom exterior shutters and interior window treatments. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated person to help with installation work as we continue to grow.

This is a part-time, contract opportunity with the potential for regular work as our business expands. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to build a relationship with a growing local company.

What you'll do:

• Install custom exterior shutters on residential homes
• Occasionally install interior window treatments
• Pick up materials from our local warehouse and transport them to job sites
• Work safely from ladders and at various heights
• Use a drill, level, tape measure, and basic hand tools
• Perform basic carpentry and installation tasks
• Take before-and-after photos of completed work
• Keep the work area clean and leave the customer's home looking better than you found it
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the homeowner and The Shutter House

What we're looking for:

• Construction, carpentry, exterior trim, handyman, or similar experience preferred
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Own basic hand and power tools
• Reliable truck or other suitable vehicle for transporting ladders and materials
• Able to accurately measure and follow installation instructions
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Professional, dependable, and respectful when working in customers' homes
• Willingness to learn — shutter installation experience is not required
